Jill Hennessy
Her family is from Edmonton, a city with Irish, Italian and Swedish ancestry, as well as French, Ukrainian French, and Swedish. Her twin sister, Jacqueline, is an actress and actress as well. As a child, Jill became fluent in different languages such as Italian, French and Spanish. As she was 12 years old young, she began to become interested in being an actor. The path to acting began in Toronto as she was the actress in David Cronenberg's Dead Ringers, along with her sister. She then studied improv comedy at Second City under Deb Kimmet. After that, she was transferred back to New York two years later after which she signed a deal to play the role of Assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid in the hit show that has been running for a long time Law & Order. For the duration of her 3 year stint and beyond, she spent her time performing in feature films, such as RoboCop 3 (1993), Ron Howard's The Paper (1994), as well as I Shot Andy Warhol (1996). Following that her appearances in an assortment of uninteresting films. In 1999, she was cast as a lead in the miniseries uremberg alongside Alec Baldwin. Autumn in New York followed the show, along with Exit Wounds. She was the main character on The NBC crime thriller Crossing Jordan in 2001. In 2007, she was awarded the Gracie Allen Award for "Outstanding female actor in a drama" in appreciation of her performance on the show. She got married in 2000 to another actor Paolo Mastropietro. The couple has two children. In 2007, she received a place at the Canadian Walk of Fame.
