Awkwafina

Awkwafina, an American performer and actress, started with a series of rap songs which dealt with the subject of sexuality and race. Her career expanded to Hollywood after she released several rap songs. She was born Nora Lum to Chinese and Korean immigrants within Forest Hills Queens her first taste of musician life came in the form of the trumpet. Her classical, jazz and hip-hop training began as she was just a teenager. While in college, she took classes in the field of women's studies and journalism. In addition, she spent a short time studying Mandarin in Beijing. It wasn't until she began focusing on music until the time she graduated. Her song My Vag, a response track to the Mickey Avalon's My Dick gained viral popularity through the Internet in the year 2012. The track was later included on her debut album Yellow Ranger released in 2014. The album also contained viral hits including body positive Queef and winking tour of her home NYC Bitche$. This latter song was directly tied to Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide for 2015, which was a travel guide. With musician and author as her credentials, she determined to pursue a third endeavor actor. Alongside early TV shows such as Girl Code and Tawk she was also in films such as Neighbors 2, Storks and Bad Rap. The actress made headlines in the year 2018, with several movies that were highly regarded, such as Dude Ocean's 8 and Crazy Rich Asians. Then in June, she launched the EP in Fina We Trust.
